Packaging Redesign
One of my first major tasks was to redesign the packaging for our battery chargers. I began with the three chargers shown above, and after immensely positive reception from both Hitec and our customers, was given the green light to homologate all our chargers to this style.
Quick Start Guides
Each charger package included a Quick Start Guide to aid customers with getting their product running immediately. I designed the QSG from the ground up. The RDX2 800 QSG is shown in full.
Digital Manuals
Each charger also has a full manual available online. These manuals are far more in-depth and feature additional lineart, specs and more. Manuals are approximately 30 pages in total - I have selected a handful of spreads from the RDX2 800 manual to highlight my work.
Truncated Catalog
Hitec offers over 100 servo models, making it challenging for resellers to navigate our product range. To address this, I proposed and developed a mini-catalog designed to simplify product selection and showcase our categories and value. The result was a 12-page document highlighting our advantages and providing an overview of our offerings. Below are a few sample spreads from the catalog.
Print Ads
At Hitec, we produced monthly ads for various publications. One of my favorite campaigns, Live the Adventure, is showcased here. I had creative freedom for each campaign, and for this one, I chose to design vibrant, eye-catching illustrations of RC vehicles that resonated with our customers. The campaign was tailored to different audiences, with the Low Profile. High Performance. ad targeting surface-based publications, and the second Live the Adventure ad catering to aerial enthusiasts.
Social Media
I worked closely with Hitec's social media manager on a weekly basis to ensure the brand’s online presence was cohesive and engaging. One notable project was creating a set of promotional materials for their 2023 merchandise sales. This project involved conceptualizing and designing eye-catching graphics that aligned with Hitec’s branding, effectively driving customer interest and engagement across their social platforms. These assets were versatile, ensuring consistent messaging across various channels, including Instagram, Facebook, and email campaigns.

2024 UMEX Booth
I was tasked with designing the backdrop for Hitec's booth at 2024 UMEX. The goal was to create a striking, high-impact visual that would capture attention from a distance and reinforce the brand’s versatility specifically in drones. I focused on clean, bold graphics that highlighted Hitec’s products while maintaining a consistent visual identity.
2024 XPONENTIAL Pedicab
For the 2024 Xponential Trade Show, I designed Hitec's branded pedicab to serve as a mobile advertisement and attract attention to their booth. The design focused on bold, recognizable branding and showcased Hitec’s products in a creative way, ensuring the pedicab was both visually striking and aligned with the company’s overall trade show presence. This unique design helped draw visitors to the booth, adding a dynamic and engaging element to the event.

One of the most unique projects I was given at Hitec was the ability to design a partial vehicle wrap for our Drone division's van. The goal was to create a wrap that was easily identifiable and showcased the Hitec brand while out in the field.
